ModelCensus toolkit · modelcensus_fmi4.1_any_pptxfromexcel_v1.txt Use case: using an LLM to compile a PPTX from an Excel workbook Failure mode: fmi4.1 Right method, wrong arithmetic · https://modelcensus.org/fmi/fmi_4_1 Model: any · Version: v1 · Published versions never change; an edit is a new version. License: CC BY 4.0 · ModelCensus (modelcensus.org) What goes wrong in this use case The model picks the right formula (growth = (Q3 - Q2) / Q2) and then gets the arithmetic wrong, or rounds partway through, or recomputes a number differently on a later slide. The guard Compute every figure in a numbers table before writing any slide: the figure, its formula, the exact inputs, the result. Round only at the end. Slides copy figures from the table; they never recompute. How to check it Recompute two figures from the table by hand; they match the slide. Example North: (2,184 - 2,097) / 2,097 = +4.1%. The slide says +4.1%, copied from the table.
